Agree this is ridiculous
It's our fault for letting them get away with it. We, to include myself, would rather complain to each other on the web rather than to the people that matter. Strength in number.
Because the politicians we're letting in office allow them to, and we can't go elsewhere for WATER. Should be illegal. Vote and research who you're voting for.

We're you aware that if you wait until the next morning if possible then you only pay the regular late fee? Providing it is not the weekend that is. They charge the extra amount otherwise to pay the workers they need to keep at work to turn it on. After hour cost. They have you pay they workers pay to stay rather than them having to pay overtime. Thought this may help some people cut the cost of reconnection. A bit of patience for one night saves many dollars.
