What are some restaurants within walking distance to the Conference Center? Are there any restaurants inside the Conference Center? May need to book for a small group in the near future.

The Portola Hotel is attached to Monterey Conference Center and in the tree lined indoor arbor lobby between the two, there is a beautiful white tablecloth dining area (Jack's) just down the 1-2 steps near the back. Also, Alvarado St leading into the conference center is known for it's restaurants, some exceptional requiring reservations and some casual sandwich shops, bakeries, as well as unusual flavor store made Ice Cream shops. Also, Pacific Ave has restaurants.

There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the conference center. You'll find restaurants down Alvarado Street or try Fisherman's Wharf.

Definitely check out Montrios. Have had several company off-site meetings there. There's Jack's restaurant at the Portola hotel next door and if you like Italian then give Cibos a call. If your looking for some other great local food I frequent Turn12 which is car related and great food.
