Ask community what? How the abused get reabused calling the cops. Either the cops treating you like a joke or the fact you have to plead and go before a judge like a criminal to ask for a piece of paper that is a joke all around town?

The sad thing is WAA doesn’t guarantee help but tell you to leave and get a pfa and custody then you’re stuck when they don’t have any room in the shelter or any lawyers to review your case and if they do they’re last minute and unprepared

Same thing I faced being abused by staff though

Shelters may be closed which is very unfortunate. But there are other outlets have to look hard. They give you the resources and from those resources you can get other resources. I’m not putting anyone down my situation is different. But being disabled and on fixed income is hard. The information takes hard work and action on our part it’s like fighting for our and our children’s life. So much action on our part is required. They can’t do it for us.
