Animals come and go, it depends on the day you look. Just have patience, and keep checking back!
Most of our pets are adopted within 24-hours. We adopt about 128 animals a week! So please keep an eye on the website, they are regularly added. Tuesday morning is a great day to come in when we open at 11am.
I'm going by what I hear on the News, & FB & other public service. I check Meridian & Eagle web & they post the same animals that's on Boise humane society. What's up with that? I'm just trying to understand how things work. Asking questions is the only way one learns
The main facility that handles intake of stray and surrendered animals takes time to process and vet the animals, taking care of all their medical like spay/neuter/dental, and checking their behavior. Some animals even require major surgery for broken bones and they need to heal before they are adoptable. This whole process takes time. Then they have to schedule transport from that facility to the adoption center in a van that can only hold so many animals at a time; it's not like a massive bus, just a normal cargo van. As animals are adopted out, more are transported over to the adoption center. But this is not in instantaneous process and sometimes doesn't happen everyday. Especially on the weekends when they're very busy, a lot of animals might get adopted out, but that leaves them no time to transport in new animals. However, I have no clue what you're on about; I just checked the site and there are 15 dogs and 28 cats available? I wouldn't call that hardly any?
