I have a gigantic pile of bedding and towels to donate, but no time to drive clear out there. I've dropped off a few before at Petsmart, but they really don't have a place for these. Can someone pick them up?

Call the Humane society. They have mobile pet places on the weekend you may be able to coordinate with. They also have pet pantry delivery routes.
