I've used Fairfield Recycling before and I will use them again. I find the manager Paul to be very courteous and helpful. I'm a contractor so sometimes I have a lot of scrap aluminum. They don't pay for steel if you have a lot of that you might go elsewhere but they do have a large clean dumpster right outside and I throw my steel scrap in there. I know they wish they could pay more but the aluminum prices in the last year have dropped down from $0.50 a pound to $0.25 a pound, which is what I got paid last week. That is still better than a few other places I found that are only paying $0.15 -$.20. If it's strictly for soda pop cans I would call Paul and ask him directly what they're paying this week. I save up until I have at least 200 or 300 lb of scrap waste otherwise it's not really worth it, but you are doing a very good turn for our environment. And Mother Nature sorely needs all our help! I would call Paul and you get the straight scoop
