I have a DEXASCAN scheduled there very soon. Robot scheduler said no calcium-containing medications, supplements or foods X 2 or 3 days prior to the test. No dairy foods. Almost EVERYTHING contains calcium. Would low-calcium foods be OK??

Personally I would not have anything you were instructed to do. I just had a CT scan and had to follow certain foods only 1 day prior which I did otherwise it can effect the results I feel that would be the same for any test ones having done. Good luck

I wasn't told to eliminate anything but I had the scan the same day of making appointment.
