Margaret, a great place to check is Thrift Books. Just search their site for Birds nests & eggs. You can get new, to barely used books at great prices. They usually include good descriptions of the books contents. I have gotten amazing books from them.
They had a selection of books but I am not sure if one was specifically for nests and eggs. They have a great app called Merlin that will help identify birds in your geographic area.
