If you dont mind the cold it is a great place. I think tje Walmart here would work with you to transfer. I know people who they have worked with
It is beautiful year round. In the summer it is a much busier place because of many vacationers and tourists. In the winter there is still spectacular scenery and plenty to do. It would be quite a climate difference coming from Florida. There is not an enormous amount of snow but it can be extremely cold at times.
Watkins Glen is a small town , but has a lot to offer.The finger lakes region is beautiful with 162 wineries,micro breweries, and distilleries.The Glen is a natural gorge that is great to hike through.They is also the famous Watkins Glen NASCAR race track. The town is on Seneca lake witch is beautiful.
Literally closes down in the winter. Best in summer!
It's cold in winter , i started my vacation in Watkins glen (November 6th) , it lasted a day because it was to cold , now i am in florida , if that's where you want to move to buy lots of winter gear

I've been there on vacation and just love the area I'm from Pennsylvania so I'm used to the cold and love the snow I work at Walmart I'm hoping they would take me in at Walmart after 10 years just trying to get some feedback
