I would say during the fall after it rains. Pick a sunny day to go to get good photos and see the wonders this place has to offer.
After it rains
Spring and fall os always the best season. But this year we have had enough rain to still be a nice site.
It is shady in there all day. Get there first thing in the morning. Beat the rush.
During the summer months, it's best to go early in the day - before it gets too hot and before the park becomes too crowded.
