Do you have to book a tour to see the museum? Wondering because me and my family drove over an hour to see it and when we got there all doors were locked and no one was there even tho the website and all the signs on the doors said they were open!

You may go on a self-guided tour, but you need to book in advance for a guided tour. Both are great but you see more with a guided tour.

It was open when we were there but it was Fall. It was also foggy that you couldn't see the view.

No you don't need to book a tour. I believe that it is a self guided tour. Not sure if they are open during the winter months.

We went during the summer and it was open and you didn't have to pre book. I don't know about winter hours.
