Need an latex exterior metal building paint. Flat sage green in gallon size. Will be scraping former paint that was cheap and pealed. How to prime before using sage green. Suggestions welcome, would like to get at Lowe's.

Ask them if the have an exterior primer it will most likely be white of they have it. Make sure after you chip the old off sand the rough spots otherwise it won't absorb as evenly.

They should be able to tint the primer also if the color of paint is darker. Makes for easier coverage
