Will the Foodnetwork, Animal Planet and TLC still provide new episodes on cable or have these now moved to Discovery + channel?

I'd say in the short term, no. Too many people still depend on good ol cable TV. Streaming services, belive it or not, are an extra cost that many folks can't/won't use constantly or right way depending on your entertainment disposable income budget. If each streaming service only shows it's programming then you're looking at several streaming services ranging from 15 bucks and up each. That quickly adds up and thus people won't subscribe to every streaming service. Cable TV is still too addictive to switch and deal with streaming services and the problems they have. For example poor bandwidth because you have 20 IoT devices connected to one router. Ect, ect,... Tl;dl, Live channels will be here for a lonnng time. (IMO)
