Just prove it ? Credit, video, witness. &, affidavit it. It's not worth a felony for purjury & fraud? They won't say that at the first level , UNLESS they've been:"around" or the MGR-ASST.MGR is their. Lying to you about it is also fraud, so they go to prison : you get rich & on the "flaged list' to settle fast! Kinda like a: "VIP" depending on the revious settlement & expenses? BUT: theother way , it would be up to max. 17~23 years? It's not worth trying, if yur wrong? Most times it's simple and painless, but you know who they HAVE TO hire at ENTRY LEVEL positions you need to get past, don't get upset there. 😉
If you have the tag attached may be you will be lucky if the customer service rep is kind enough.
They usually don't let you return things without a receipt but they will let you exchange it but you never know probably depends on the product as well I think if it's electronic that probably will not take it back and exchange it either without a receipt.
I am sorry I am not sure. I do remember that they do allow return without receipts but not sure about amount limit
