The Zoo is accessible. That said, it would be very exhausting to push a wheelchair thru zoo all day. Zoo slopes downhill and you must go back uphill to exit. They rent scooters for $30, I recommend you get one of those.
There was an exhibit with a theater presentation that had doors, maybe a few things that involve doors. I can't remember if they had an automatic option. It would probably be good to have someone along to help with that.
We pushed a stroller around the bottom filled with our bags. if anything it was helpful to carry things for us anyway also there are seats everywhere to sit and chill or take a brk. I only recall going up one set of steps and that was optional. It's a nice family day.
Very convenient
Fairly easy, elevators in parking garage and wheel chair ramps throughout.
Easy to get around with wheelchair a lot of walking probably would be tough pushing all day
Looks like you got several really good answers. Go early and see everything!
Very easy to see most of the zoo. I think the small mammal exibit only had stairs but everywhere else has easy access for wheelchairs. I would not recommend going there in summer as it is very hot and there is a hill toward the back end of the zoo. Saw many wheelchairs when i was visiting the zoo. Best would be to go mid afternoon when the crowds are less and temp is more reasonable
I agree with JK Mickshaw
Very easy. There is a large hill in the back of the zoo. Loops around if that makes sense. My mother rented a scooter there last time we went and had no problems.
I only recall one set of stairs it from the small mammel house, but other than that it would be very easy. ( Also, there were two entrances to the small mammel house one without stairs)
I would say pretty easy. There really isnt any stairs or anything
