I wouldn’t recommend it. As a single shot, mounting a scope over bore can make operating the gun troublesome. Mounting the scope on the side give you convergence issues between the bore and line-of-sight. If you are having me drill holes, tapping them for threads, mounting and sighting an optic, plus the price of the mounts, rings, and scope - it just doesn’t make sense.
