Leopard geckos vision is based on movement. If you are attempting to feed him food that is not alive, they will not see it and not eat it. They are carnivores, and will only go after LIVE food. Stick to live meal works, crickets, and wax worms. And always remember, never feed them food or bugs that are larger than the distance between their eyes. Anything bigger than that can cause them to choke or suffocate.
