How much does it cost to have a female cat fixed?

At Countryside animal hospital it cost about $45 without anything for pain but they say they're not in hardly any pain but I say...if you're not them then how do you know how much pain they could be in so I paid the extra $20 for the shot and it cost me a total of $65 for my male cats but for a female cat it's higher around $140-$150 because there is considerable amount more involved with a female but the countryside hospital is the cheapest place you will probably find but I would still pay the $20 extra for a pain shot also they start them on their shots and you get a reminder each year for a booster shot. Pretty nice people too6
