Go to NCDOT.GOV, then scroll down to Ferry services, scroll down to Ferry Terminals and select the location you want to visit. It will let you download the Ferry schedule. Starting at 7am til 4:45pm it departs every 45 minutes. The last Ferry leaving from Southport is at 6:15pm.

Look online they have a summer and winter schedule it starts pretty early and rolls about every hour till about 7
