My family is staying at the Many Glacier Hotel for the last week of July and we are interested in a river raft trip - a fairly peaceful one as we have all ages. How long a drive would it be for us to access a raft trip.

Hi Roberta, From Many Glacier Hotel, it would take roughly 2.5 hours to get to West Glacier. You can either go through Glacier Park on the Going-to-the-Sun Road or around the Park on Hwy. 2. The best trip option would be our scenic raft trip. It's a leisurely float along Glacier Park and is beautiful during the month of July. It's great if you have a family with young children. The Glacier Raft Company provided a great experience for me and my family. Our daughter was only 8 and loved it. Can't beat the view either. We will be coming back!
