How do you open a claim for unemployment?

Hi Jason. When you get to the building, ask at the main counter to use the Computer Resource Center(CRC), it's the room to the far left as you walk in. Their staff will register you and give you a user ID number, have your license or a photo ID with you. After you get registered, you can go into the CRC and look for the computers that state ..unemployment comp only and doo your thing. Have as much detail about your claim as u can, as its all done via their system now. Expect for it to take at least a good hour, if not more. Hope that helped, I've had to do it several times, its how I know.
