I heard all Walmart’s are not accepting cash. Is that true? Some people don’t have cards. I was on the phone will them for 8 minutes waiting on an answer and it just hung up

You can use cash on the regular registers.

I have been to a few different Walmarts in my area north and south..the south Madisonville TN Walmart..check your self out part the register did have a notification note saying only credit cards..so I went to the north one in Maryville TN a few days later and did not see anything.. It's more than likely a hit and miss situation. On the south side in Madisonville TN is a much smaller town than Maryville TN...so maybe that's why? Hope this helps..stay safe and have a great day!

They did yesterday on the west side

When I was there 3 days ago, there was 1 self checkout that accepted cash, out of 8 self checkout registers.

Last night I went through self checkout. The register had sign posted cards only. No cash back either. If any were cash I didn't notice. Hope that helps.
