Who all is sick and tired of people bringing in their family pets (dogs) into the store (not talking about service dogs) with their pet beds and putting them in the carts or on leashes?

I would much rather put up with animals than the stinky, loud, squawling brats that people bring in and BEG them to stop crying.

There are many different types of dogs that are service dogs these days, such as seizure dogs and dogs to alert diabetics of a low blood sugar and dogs that support persons with PTSD and allow them to function. I seriously doubt that dogs in a dog bed are service dogs. The walmarts, where I live, do not allow dogs in the carts. But, the dogs on leashes may well be service dogs. I have a seizure dog, who is not a big dog. I have gotten him a harness and leash that say service dog, and I wear a service dog I.D. on a landyer. I tried several different sizes of the traditional vests on him. Because of his build, they all slipped down on him. I have been out with him, without his service dog vest or I.D. card, and remembered I needed something from a store. I have taken him in, with a plain harness and leash, with no problem and I really appreciate that.

I am, dogs or any other animal unless it's a service animal should not be allowed in stores especially grocery stores and definitely not in the shopping carts. People have allergies and I am one of them. People don't realize when people with allergies put there hands on these carts that dogs have been in or when they pet the animals and touch the cart then people with allergies goes in gets one of these carts and touches there face it can be bad. Leave them at home!!!!!

Obviously y'all are lacking understanding and should NOT judge others lest ye be judged.....or would you walk a mile in their shoes. There is not a single individual on earth who is w/o problems.....compassion and prayer go a long way.

Until recently policy wouldn't let employees ask about service animals. Members of the store manament team should be able to deal with it now just let one of them know the next time you see it. If enough customers complain about it they will have to crackdown on the pet problem.

It don't bother me, unless it's a aggressive breed animal. I know sometimes going stay their depends this depends that. It depends on when that precious animal tips a persons face off. Then I'm a sob for blowing your dogs head of in the store. It don't bother me that they bring their babies as they call them. I have 3 of my own. But there's always a risk of harm to other, people, pets, & property. Unfortunately there are folks that are extremely irresponsible and if there are damages will not accept the damage and pay up. Does it bother me the animals NO. But it's best to leave them home or in a vehicle. To be safe
