It's a wonderful family park. Lots to do there with children. Only the dog park requires a special pass. Everything else is open to the public.
Yes the park is open to anyone. There is plenty to do for the whole family: two playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment, paved walking trails, baseball fields, dog park, disc golf, picnic areas, splash pad are most of the things available.
Yes it is great for kids so definitely take your son for a fun little day
