I live a couple hours away and I'm afraid if I visit, you guys may only have hockey practice. Is there both hockey and skating on the same ice or is it split up in time? If so what time is meant for public skating.

There are specific public skate times listed on the website. For now you have to register in advance. Public times are only open skate, no hockey.
