I don't think that my kids get the exposure to ice that was mentioned in the typical day schedule. Most of the time she watched movie and played card games. It was not worth and I wont sign up for another camp.

Nice music and the ice is usually redone before they open for public skating. I just don’t understand why it costs the same amount to skate if you bring your own skates

Yes, there is the Greensboro stars and Triad youth hockey and the regular season starts in October. They do have summer hockey programs also.
We currently (12/31/18) have a public skating session going on that started at 1:45 and will end at 8:00pm. We will have a super extended session tomorrow on New Years Day that will run from noon to 10pm. Please check out our schedule for all our public skating times at http://bit.ly/2P3fy4u. We hope you are able to join us soon.
There are also adult only public sessions during the week around lunch time.

There are specific public skate times listed on the website. For now you have to register in advance. Public times are only open skate, no hockey.

If you're renting the ice out it's probably like a couple hundred an hour. Otherwise there are only specific times which free skate is available. It's $7.00 during week days and $10.00 during weekends
Week day skates are $7 and include skate rental. Weekend, Holiday & Extended Sessions are $10 admission for any one 7 yrs+, $8 admission for 4-6 yrs, 3 & under is free, and skate rental for everyone is $3.
