my 15 year old son is flying unaccompanied from Fayetteville regional and has to stop at CLT with a 50min layover will there be someone there to guide him to the next terminal?

There is a charge for unaccompanied children. If the child is on their own you can't assume someone will be available to take the child to another gate if you don't pay for the service.
