Hi Shannon moon what hotel in Charleston did you check into and were the rates reasonable I myself traveled to Charleston last year in Sept for my first cruise to the Bahamas it's was wonderful I'm on my way back on October 29 want to go a day early.

We stayed in North Charleston and drove into Historic Charleston. rates varied depending on day of week or weekends, if you can book ahead it's more reasonable. There are many hotels available online.
