Each shop has it's own policy. We were there last week and didn't wear one in almost all stores we went to.
I would just say do whatever your conscience tells you to do as a person yourself. And not worry about anything else. We live in America by the way still....

The market wasn't open
The market wasn't open last week. We were told that the city haven't set a date to allow vendors to return due to the closeness of the tables under the market shed.
We were there about 2 weeks ago and nobody seemed to care if we did or not.
