My husband and I take pain meds, I am on morphine. Is there any doctor in this town that prescibes meds or do they all just do procedures. We are not rich and our insurance does not cover them without a high copay.

Brenda, I go and at first seen Dr. North. He will do both depending needs and what's working vs what's not. I then started seeing his P.A. Deana Smsrt who is AWESOME. Same thing, they listen and do what needs to be done. I now see Ashley Simon and I would trust any of them. If you need a procedure, they do it. If you need meds, they will do it. I am retired from Law Enforcemet and some of the meds they put me on scared me because of what they were. I was assured they would keep an eye on me and they have. I am very grateful for these doctors. I highly recommend them.

I moved in with my son in N. C. I need pain medication to have any quality of life. But I need a doctor that treats me as part of the tea.. I also need a doctor to be careful so the proper medication a nd dose are given. I can not take long actingk meds as I can not digest them properly. Years ago a doctor gave them ttko me and they simply built up in my system and I overdosed. I need someone with experience with pool atients that can take some meds and they work great other meds either don't work or work too well. I want quality of life not be a zombie.
