We have a honda pilot 4x4. Never been off roading anywhere at all and the vehicle is new to us. Would this be a good place for a first timer or does anyone have a better suggestion. Would prefer to stay in nc or east tn. Thanks!!

what size tires are you running? We do have members with bone stock rigs come in and ride with no problem, there maybe one or 2 areas you might be advised to bypass or take a different route on

I agree with Chris, it is not ideal for beginners with a stock vehicle. Loads of fun once you get a lift and or 32 inch tires at least.

I wouldn't suggest that if you don't have any lift or anything brown mountain would be a better beginner run but don't ever wheel alone
