Other than a service animals why would you be taking a pet to a store,any store? Some people are allergic to pet hairs and it is being rude and inconsiderate exposing such people to your pets. Leave them at home if they are not a service animal.

I saw them outside but not in the store. Remember you have to go through a turnstile to get into the store
Service dogs are allowed anywhere. And if its kor a service dog it really depends on what employee you run into
