I’m about to go to burr pond for the first time. Do I have to pay to get in. And would I also have to pay to swim?

It's free if you are a Connecticut Resident for all state parks in CT. I've never seen Burr Pond collect money even tho they have a ticket booth

It's free during the week, I think weekends and holidays are different.

No you don't have to pay to get in, or swim. burr pond is one of my favorite places to swim (i also suggest you walk around on both wooded sides of the beach - if you like walking)

Out of staters I believe are charged but I think only on weekends and holidays. There is a ticket booth at the entrance. I'm from MA and the only times I've been charged was on a Saturday. I've never been charged or even seen anyone at the booth on a weekday.
