Out of staters I believe are charged but I think only on weekends and holidays. There is a ticket booth at the entrance. I'm from MA and the only times I've been charged was on a Saturday. I've never been charged or even seen anyone at the booth on a weekday.

Free for Connecticut residences but if your vehicle has out of state tags they want to charge you. I found this out on Sunday the 12th even told the guy here is my state license and my Disabled plaque and my Veterans ID, but No I was turned away. Was there 2 weeks ago no problem was let right in and enjoyed what we could see. Nice peaceful place for family's and couples. Hopefully next time people at the entrance get better training.
