Can I ask a group of parents with their children to meet there on Monday 7/27 or do I have to reserve that time? I am inviting my class to get together and possibly use some of the tables for snacks. It would be from 11-1.

In the year that I have been keeping up with the park, I have never come across anyone renting or reserving a pavilion at Park Pals. It has always been first come, first serve. Weekdays are usually very slow at the park, especially in the hot summer months. Plenty of tables under the main pavilion. Competition for space usually comes from daycare services. Want some reassurance, call Parks office at 352-394-3500.

Call city so you're guaranteed a table for that time frame. Mite have to pay for it but at lease you and your group will have a place to sit and enjoy the park

It probably wouldn't hurt to call and ask to make sure you have a pavilion
