While this place may have good intentions, I just had a really bad experience which was uncalled for . Bought a bunch of stuff, one item was priced 1.00 . After it was rung up not even left the store I realized she charged 8.00 when I brought to her attention, she turn it upside down to show me another smaller tag for 8.00 . She claimed the big tag is a Walmart pre price . After telling her ok I do not want it , she firmly said nope , you cannot return, it’s yours . First , how can you sell an item per price at 1.00 for 8.00 used ! At a thrift store , 2nd why would leave a big tag for 1.00 and not remove, 3rd after you realize it’s your fault , why be so rude and not just exchange or cancel the transaction. How can you want people to support you after this ?? Very disappointing!!

I absolutely love New Beginnings!!! I volunteered here years ago when I worked with Orange Lake Resort and it was an amazing experience! This is a great thrift store with great items, great staff and AMAZING purpose!!! Every sale goes to support local homeless and I think that’s just another reason to shop here. I've taken my daughter here - several times (she's a huge Thrifter @ 18 years old :) and we live in Poinciana - Sooooo I'd say it's definitely worth the voyage haha! I also wanted to give a shout out to their delivery guys James & Kevin you guys went above and beyond to get our items to us- great individuals!! Thank you for all you do New Beginnings!!! Stay safe and blessed!!! Great store, highly recommended!
