I am looking for a optometrist experienced with some vision loss from a detached retina in one eye, my previous Drs office is currently closed. Is there anyone out there who you would reccomend?

Meridith, all of our optometrists are experienced in maximizing vision following surgical repair of a detached retina. Please understand that some central and/or peripheral vision loss may be irreversible depending on the extent and duration of the detachment. It would be helpful for the doctor you see at Chicopee Eyecare to review your previous eye records including any visual fields you may have had.

I just recently had an appointment at Chicopee Eye Care with Dr. Burns. I had a very good experience from making the first call. Staff is very friendly and they were able to get me in earlier when someone cancelled their appointmet. I felt like I was in good hands and was listened to. Dr. Burns answered all my questions and made recommendations. Good experience! Definitely recommend!
