I've been there all different times and only seen them maybe once or twice. Right now with the river messed up it wouldn't surprise me if there weren't any around. You have a better chance in seeing them if you go out to matlachae or st James city area but even there the water is messed up with fish kill. Wish I could say a better place to see them but our water and eco system is very messed up due to lake o release

Seeing any dolphins in the river is now very rare because then releasing the water from Lake o kills all the wildlife seagrass fish and anything that wants to come through all of our beautiful scenery has died out because of all the the fresh water coming from Lego killing all of our seagrass which is the main thing that brings any animal sea life into the area so I would sadly say it's a hit or miss seeing Dolphins but if you go out to Matt Lachey Boca Grande Pine Island you most likely see dolphins there but nothing in Four Mile Cove very much I've seen Dolphins there in the past when the water wasn't dumped so much
