If you want free parking your only option is the garage in Storrs center, which is free for the first 2 hours. The other garages closer cost 1.50/hour plus 3.00$
There is paid parking in the north and south garages on the UCONN campus, or you can park in the Storrs Center garage if you plan to go to eat in Storrs center too. Unfortunately parking anywhere else runs the risk of a parking ticket.
The North campus parking garage is very close to the Jorgensen and the Benton. Doesn't cost a lot and is a much shorter walk than the downtown garage.
These ladies nailed it. Don't park in campus. You'll risk getting a ticket.
