Apparently takes a week to check a form, can’t use the gym in meantime because they’re too lazy to get around to it

Awful. I am a student at Uconn currently. Quarantined my floor for two weeks because a student had covid symptoms. Student tests negative twice, still keeps us quarantined. Gets my friend in trouble for taking off his mask to get a drink. Then got my friends in trouble for exceeding lounge capacity when it was another group that came in after them that put them over the limit. All this fuss over a disease with a 99.8% survivability rate for college age people.

Extremely disappointed. Advise nurse on duty told me that it is OK for me to do covid-19 rapid test. I waited 3 hours in line at testing site and uploaded my test results in the system. I got clearance email for covid-19 test and very next day I got another email notifying me that I have provided antibody test which can not be accepted. Then I did my test through vault-healthcare and called them back to find out weather they will receive test result automatically or I have to upload my result in the system. Person on the phone told me that sometimes they don't receive results automatically and I have to upload it. I tried to upload my results in the system but the link to upload forms was missing. Therefore, I decided to drive to campus to personally hand them my results and get conformation from them. They had me waiting outside the building while it started raining. I had to call twice before someone came at the door. At first she told me on my face that there is nothing she could do for me, after I got little-bit frustrated she did bring my results downstairs and came back and told me that they do receive results from vault-health electronically and basically I wasted my time driving all the way to campus. These people are unprofessional, they give you wrong information on the phone. While I was waiting outside the building in rain and cold they are all inside talking to each-others looking at me and pointing at me which made me fell uncomfortable (as if I was alian) Horrible Horrible treatment.

Hello, students with streptococcal pharyngitis (strep throat) should be treated with antibiotics. Most students can return to work or school 12 - 24 hours after starting antibiotic treatment, provided they do not have a fever and otherwise are feeling well.
Flu Shots are only free for students since it is their fees that pay for our services.
