The screen went blank.
the power supply went bad.
We replaced it.
Now e se a re blinking light
and a green line across the screen.
Unit is 8 years old
any ideas?

It sounds like the video card was damaged during the process. The unit and cameras are due for an upgrade.

The dvr/nvr could have crapped out as well. Or the cameras went bad because of the defective power supply.
