The ad says open 24 hrs. We are out of town and we are staying at connected hotel went to eat at steak n shake and the gentleman was sitting at the counter and motioned to us that they was closed for the night.

The location at 71dt and woodlawn is not a 24 hour location they close at midnite it is posted on the front door 7am to midnite

So the huge 24 hr sign is misleading and surprising they was closed beings they had a big baseball tournaments going on on the town.

Sometimes they have to shut down if they have a mechanical problems. But normally they are open 24hrs
