I have had a total of 6 procedures on my lumbar i.e. 3 on the right and 3 on the left. Also my x-rays have shown a slight scoliosis in that region. Two of the left side were accomplished over a 3 day span and the final one 3 weeks later. Now after completing 3 weeks of recovery I still have pain that runs down the left side of my leg occurring after a short walk manifesting causing me to rest a bit beforing resuming walking. I do have acceptance walking while shopping using a cart however, I find that I can't walk in a full upright position but using a slight bent over position which alleviates the pain. In retrospect the 3 operations on my right side over a year ago put me in a normal condition prior to experiencing pain manifesting in the lumbar region last January thus leading to the latest surgery procedures. As far as helping with the scoliosis I did not experience any back pain until my 84th birth year when it became impossible to walk while playing golf.
Our procedures are not intended to correct scoliosis, but help to reduce the pain created by scoliosis. However we can have our medical staff review your case to see if you are a candidate for the Bonati Spine Procedures.
