This office will operate on anyone. You can go to them without a problem and they’ll tell you, you needs a minute of 3 surgeries.

WARNING: look up “Dr Bonati Lawsuits”. I’m not a patient, but I know others who were and are worse now than they were before spine surgery. It’s scary to know this man is still operating on others. People, please research before going to this clinic. He’s based in Florida and Ohio.

Im curious if these people are connected to the Laser Spine Institute that was shut down due to many lawsuits. It sounds exactly the same

A year ago in the March/April time frame of 2021 I had 3 procedures on my right lumbar region resulting in outstanding results. In January of 2022 I started experiencing additional problems which manifested in the left side of my lumbar region resulting in 3 additional procedures the last occurred 4 weeks ago in June of 2022. School is still out as to the results as instead of getting better I seem to be getting worse. Presently I’m in the process of an additional MRI to determine if additional surgery’s are required. That being said, I have the utmost confidence in the Bonati procedures to finding the solution to my well being.

We work with most PPO insurance plans that have out-of-network benefits, such as BCBS, United Healthcare, Cigna and Aetna. However the best way to find out is to fill out the form below and have your insurance benefits verified. https://www.bonati.com/contact-us/
You need to call them
You should I know they don't take medicade or medicare. But I very very much recomend Bonati's Spinal Institute. I wasn't walking by myself & not only a few steps before i came now I'm walking on my own.
From my experience, while they accept insurance, most of them seem to be “out of network”. Therefore the out of pocket cost was extremely high.
You will have to call them directly. Google them for a phone#
I have had a total of 6 procedures on my lumbar i.e. 3 on the right and 3 on the left. Also my x-rays have shown a slight scoliosis in that region. Two of the left side were accomplished over a 3 day span and the final one 3 weeks later. Now after completing 3 weeks of recovery I still have pain that runs down the left side of my leg occurring after a short walk manifesting causing me to rest a bit beforing resuming walking. I do have acceptance walking while shopping using a cart however, I find that I can't walk in a full upright position but using a slight bent over position which alleviates the pain. In retrospect the 3 operations on my right side over a year ago put me in a normal condition prior to experiencing pain manifesting in the lumbar region last January thus leading to the latest surgery procedures. As far as helping with the scoliosis I did not experience any back pain until my 84th birth year when it became impossible to walk while playing golf.
Call tomorrow after 8 am Sorry

I'm not sure. It was my brother from upstate NY that was a patient there. But what I did see was a lot of positive results. You can check their web site for answer to your question.
Not sure on that one. You will probably have to reach out to them.
They do not participate in prime, or medicare. They do accept commercial insurance and you can put in a claim for Tricare and see if they will pay anything. I hoping I will get a little some back from them..
No medicare, maybe mutual, I have bluecross, blue shield
MINIMALY INVASIVE SURGERY...There are multiple procedures available but in my case they made a small incision in my back and inserted a pipe that was used to allow easy tool access without further wear and tear to the incision. The vertebrae was drilled into to access the disc area. The hole also assists with providing space for the disc as they work to remove the disc material that impacts the spine. Procedures take about 2 hours each and you may require additional procedures on another or other disc(s).
Do you take Medicare with BC BS as a second

I'm sorry but at this time they are only located in Hudson, Florida.
Meaning if you served or are serving in the military, have tricare insurance, they will not help you. Their choice not to accept, however, if you have enough cash in hand....
Hi Misty. You do need to fast before your procedure. Once you are seen at the clinic, our nurse practitioners will go over the pre-op instructions with you.
Contact them first and they'll get you to sign papers to send over that info
I'd give them a call. They'd be able to tell you and are very helpful in guiding you through the process.
I'm not sure of that insurance carrier. But they do accept many like BCBS, Cigna, United healthcare and Aetna. Is Optimum the actual carrier?
Gary, thank you for your question. We do work with BCBS PPO plans but unfortunately do not take HMO plans.
Mayra, we do work with many BCBS of Illinois plans, and in many cases we are able to work with their in-network benefits.
