Loretta, If you can't make it to a DMV office, fill out this form http://www.dmv.ri.gov/feedback/ explaining the situation, including the registration number, your address and the make/model/year of the car. A supervisor will review our transactions to determine whether your renewal request completed successfully. Responses can take three days.
You must go to one of the branches to inquire about the status of your registration.Make sure you bring your online confirmation number.
I guess you have to go to the DMV and find out what's going,
