My car recently died so I purchased a replacement for a private party. My question is can I drive the replacement car while I'm waiting for my appointment to transfer the registration?

Hi Scott, if you plan on switching the plates from your old car to the new one you can go ahead and do that. You'll have 90 days from the purchase date to register the new car. Keep a copy of the bill of sale with you when you drive the new car.
