Yes but selling a gun to a gun shop is never the best way to get a fair price should try selling it privately first before going to buy your new gun period at the end of the day they still have to turn around and sell it at a fair price for a profit. Just standard business practice
From experience none of the stores want to give a good price. Better off selling it yourself. I've listed on a number of sites as well as Craigslist. All sold through Craigslist. I created a picture with the description so their robots don't flag the post.
