Katie...I would get there no later than 9 a.m. earlier if possible. We were there on Wednesday it was close to full by 930. I don't not believe that you can get in after the park is full. I think once it's full that's it. Maybe call and ask. I always go during the week. Weekends may fill up earlier.
the soon the better even if it full the guard will give u a ticket to save u a reservation u could come back like an hour or 2
You have to arrive there almost 7, the park opens at 8, if you arrive at 8 you can't enter... I went there last Sunday and arrived there at 6:50 and there was a big line before my car... Before this time I went there twice, at 9 and at 8 and it was full... I had to go to other park (Wekyva Springs)...
As early as possible.
On a Saturday you need to in the car line before 7:00 if you want to be absolutely sure to get in. Have a breakfast picnic in car as you wait. FYI people can't come later and meet you...whole party needs to be in line that early. We have tried to get in car line just before 8 and been turned away with a pm voucher when we got up to turnoff road. Most that get turned away for afternoon go to Wekiva because it takes a bit longer to close for capacity (but even it can be closed by 9:00 AM or so on a busy Saturday)
If you dont want to set in traffic you may have to be there at day break. And the area it's worth the wait. Beautiful. Best if you can get a came site. Before and after park close you can go down to the springs
They open at 8am and on Saturday you should be there at least by 7am in line. they close by 9 maybe if not sooner.
Early as possible
It opens up either at 8 or 9, I would be sitting there at 7:30 at the earliest because it will get packed quickly and bring food, drinks, tubes, and sandbuckets for the kids. And water shoes, and bug spray, but it is fun for all ages. You don't want to be there later than 10am because it will be full and they won't allow anyone else in.
Around 8 is ok.
