Is supposed to be income based & it's a 55+ community. But here's the problem they start you with like a based rent amount then they keep raising it every 6 months. I have a family member that lives there she started paying around the $700's. She has renewed twice & her new rent now is almost $1,000. Keep in mind she only gets social security does NOT have Section 8 like most residents there & does NOT have food stamps. Her income has not increase so there's no reason why it should continue raising if it's based on income. I have to help with money every month so she can have a plate of food everyday. There's older people forced to move out since they can't afford it any longer & they do not care if they stay in the streets. I have asked at the office the reason of this & all they tell me is that they are a Private Complex. They are obviously taking advantage of this older people that only have the social security as income. Plus parking space is VERY LIMITED.
