We love Sun-N-Fun and go there every year with our RV; does not have regular trailers only Park Models which can range from $20,000 (used) to $89,000 brand new. Then, of course, there is water, sewage and electric costs plus maintence fees. No, they do not accept section 8.
It is possible to "camp" for those 90 days.
Legally, you have to leave the park for 90 consecutive days every year. The living area of the home cannot exceed 500 sq. ft., not including the lanai (porch). And no, it isn't cheap. As it is a vacation facility and not a residential community, I don't believe they have Section 8 availability.
You can only stay there 9 months out of the year. They will make an exception of there's a health issue. Lot rent is approximately $810/mth plus the cost to buy the trailer.
Not an inexpensive place to live! We were only there for a few days...not the season.
I thought the lot rent was like 1200 a month
From what I've heard. The 500 square foot trailers are going for 100,000 dollars. Some are used for a bit less. The monthly lot rent rent runs over 900 dollars a month.
